Delhi CM Kejriwal Thanks Supreme Court and Prepares to Surrender at Tihar Jail

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, expressing gratitude to the Supreme Court, announced his plan to surrender at Tihar Jail after 21 days of election campaigning. “On the orders of the honourable Supreme Court, I came out for 21 days for election campaigning. I am very grateful to the honourable Supreme Court,” said Kejriwal.

Detailing his schedule before surrendering, Kejriwal stated, “Today I will surrender at Tihar. I will leave home at 3 pm. First, I will go to Rajghat and pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. From there, I will go to Hanuman Temple at Connaught Place to seek the blessings of Hanuman ji. And from there, I will go to the party office and meet all the workers and party leaders. From there, I will again leave for Tihar.”

Kejriwal also conveyed his concern for his supporters, saying, “All of you take care of yourself. I will worry about you all in jail. If you are happy, then your Kejriwal will also be happy in jail.”

This heartfelt message reflects Kejriwal’s dedication to his supporters and his respectful compliance with the Supreme Court’s orders.
