Delhi Earthquake: On Thursday, a powerful earthquake of magnitude 5.7 struck Afghanistan, causing notable tremors across several regions, including Delhi-NCR and parts of Rajasthan. The earthquake, which occurred at 11:26 AM, was centered 277 km northeast of Kabul at a depth of 255 km, according to the National Seismological Center.

Tremors Felt in Pakistan:

The seismic activity also impacted Pakistan, with tremors experienced in Jammu and Kashmir, and major cities including Islamabad, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, and Faisalabad. The earthquake’s intensity in Pakistan was reported to be 5.4, affecting areas in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Delhi Earthquake:

In Delhi-NCR, the earthquake’s effects were distinctly felt. Residents of Delhi, Noida, and Ghaziabad reported feeling the ground shake, prompting many to evacuate their homes briefly. The quake’s impact was felt strongly, but fortunately, no casualties or significant structural damage have been reported.
