In the video, one policeman is seen arguing with a man inside the checkpoint. After a brief conversation, the man hands over a bundle of money, which the cop discreetly places on a table behind him.
Dividing the Spoils
Once the man leaves, the policeman counts the money and divides it between himself and two colleagues. The trio is seen smiling as they share the bribe.
Immediate Suspension
Following the video’s circulation, Delhi Lt Governor VK Saxena responded on X, announcing the suspension of the three officers involved – two Assistant Sub-Inspectors and one Head Constable.
