Ayodhya: Devotees from across the country are making a pilgrimage to Ayodhya to participate in the highly anticipated Pran Pratistha ceremony, marking a significant chapter in the construction of the Ram Mandir. Among these devotees, ten youths from Hatkeshwar Mahadev temple in PM Narendra Modi’s village Vadnagar, Gujarat, stand out for their extraordinary journey.
Embarking on foot, the dedicated youths covered a remarkable 1300 kilometers in 46 days, carrying with them the sacred Akhand Jyoti and a meticulous model of the Ram Mandir. Pawan Chaudhary, the coordinator of this spiritual journey, shared that they commenced their pilgrimage on 27th November, making stops along the way to perform Aarti and worship the Akhand Jyoti at various locations. The flame they carried is a symbolic dedication to Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.
The consecration ceremony of the new idol of Ram Lalla, a significant milestone in the Ram Mandir project, has attracted dignitaries and special guests. President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla have been invited to be a part of the historic event. Renowned sculptor Ram V Sutar, the creator of the world’s tallest statue, the Statue of Unity, will also grace the ceremony along with painter Vasudev Kamat, who designed the immovable idol of Ramlala for the grand temple.
The Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust extended invitations to the President and Vice President through prominent figures in Delhi, including Ramlal from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Alok Kumar from Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), and Nripendra Mishra, the Chairman of the Temple Construction Committee. Additionally, the Trust has invited Gurdas Naan, a well-known Punjabi singer, to be part of this auspicious occasion.
Renowned sculptor Padmabhushan Ram V. Sutar and artist Vasudev Kamat’s contributions add an extra layer of significance to the ceremony, highlighting the confluence of artistic talent and religious devotion in the creation of the new idol for the Ram Mandir. As devotees continue to pour into Ayodhya, the atmosphere is charged with anticipation and spiritual fervor, marking a momentous chapter in the cultural and religious history of India.
