Dr. Bharati Pravin Pawar: Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare turns 45 today

Bharati Pravin Pawar is an Indian politician presently serving as the Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare of India since July 7, 2021. She secured her position in the 17th Lok Sabha, the lower house of the Parliament of India, representing the Dindori Lok Sabha Constituency in Maharashtra during the 2019 Indian general elections as a member of the BJP.

Born on 13th September 1978 in Narul-Kalwan, a region with a rich Adivasi heritage in Nashik, Maharashtra, Dr. Bharti Pawar’s roots are deeply intertwined with the culture and ethos of the area. She is married to Pravin Pawar and is the daughter-in-law of the former minister, Arjun Tulshiram Pawar.

Dr. Bharti Pawar earned her MBBS degree in 2002 from N.D.M.V.P’s Medical College in Nashik, showcasing her dedication to the field of medicine and healthcare.

Subsequently, she joined the BJP in 2019 and secured victory in the election, representing the Dindori Lok Sabha Constituency.

Her family’s political legacy is noteworthy, with her father-in-law having served as an eight-time MLA from the same region and holding the position of Minister of State for Tribal Welfare in the First Deshmukh Ministry of the Government of Maharashtra.
