Manesar: The International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT) in Manesar, Haryana will host a one-day event on February 4, 2023, “Towards Panchamrit”, to emphasize the efforts made by the Ministry of Heavy Industries to promote and develop the automotive industry in India.
Union Minister Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey and MoS Shri Krishan Pal will inaugurate the exposition of the ICAT Incubation Centre and interact with automotive industry leaders and government officials to deliberate on the implementation of key schemes such as PLI-Auto, PLI- ACC, FAME, and Capital Goods Scheme.
The technical sessions at the event will focus on cutting-edge technologies such as Hydrogen, EVs, Biofuels, and Gas-fueled vehicles, while also highlighting the policy and regulatory ecosystem required to support the faster adoption of these technologies. The ICAT incubation center aims to support startups and help them bring market-ready products to life.
In line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a “Panchamrit Ki Saugat” outlined at COP 26, the event is a crucial step towards India’s goal of reducing its carbon footprint and promoting green and clean mobility solutions. The dignitaries will also get an opportunity to witness the testing and certification infrastructure available at ICAT.
