On February 1, 2025, the President of India, Droupadi Murmu, inaugurated the Amrit Udyan Winter Annuals Edition 2025. The Amrit Udyan will open to the public from February 2 to March 30, 2025, providing a unique opportunity to explore nature’s beauty at the President’s Estate.
Visitor Timings and Special Categories
The Amrit Udyan will be open six days a week (10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), with Mondays reserved for maintenance. Specific closure dates include February 5 (Delhi Legislative Assembly elections), February 20-21 (Visitors’ Conference), and March 14 (Holi).
Special categories like divyangjan (March 26), defense, paramilitary, and police personnel (March 27), women and tribal women’s SHGs (March 28), and senior citizens (March 29) will have exclusive access.
Free Entry and Booking Details
Entry to Amrit Udyan is free, with bookings available online at visit.rashtrapatibhavan.gov.in or through walk-ins. Visitors will enter through Gate No. 35, located near North Avenue. A shuttle service will be available from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35.
Flora and Cultural Events
The garden showcases tulips, 140 rose varieties, and 80 other flowers. As part of the Amrit Udyan celebrations, the Vividhta Ka Amrit Mahotsav will highlight Southern India’s culture from March 6-9, 2025.
