Chouhan’s Political Career

Shivraj Singh Chouhan was at the forefront of the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP)’s campaigning as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh during the Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Elections in 2023. Although he was overlooked for another term as the CM, with the party deciding to make Mohan Yadav the CM, Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s political career continues to flourish.

Expectations for Chouhan’s Role in the Central Cabinet

With Shivraj Singh Chouhan set to return to the Parliament, it is anticipated that the seasoned leader will be entrusted with a significant role in the central cabinet if the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secures a majority in the Lok Sabha elections under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BJP’s Performance in Madhya Pradesh

Despite struggling to cross the 300-seat mark, the BJP has found solace in Madhya Pradesh, where it maintains a lead in all 29 Lok Sabha seats. The party has already secured victories in two seats, with the Indore Lok Sabha Seat being a notable highlight. Shankar Lalwani, the BJP candidate, won by a record margin of 11,75,092 votes, with the result status declared on the ECI portal.
