In a special event organized by the Basic Education Department, he will take center stage to unveil a series of initiatives aimed at elevating the quality of education provided to students.
Tablets for Teachers: Enhancing the Teaching Experience
A significant highlight of this event is the distribution of tablets to teachers, equipping them with advanced tools for more effective teaching. By incorporating technology into the educational process, teachers will have the means to engage students more dynamically and ensure that learning remains engaging and up-to-date.
Smart Classes: A Leap Forward in Learning
Another pivotal move in this educational transformation is the inauguration of smart classes. These technology-enabled classrooms will be introduced to 1086 council schools across the division, offering students an immersive and interactive learning environment. Wonder Boxes for Pre-Primary Education: Nurturing Young Minds
Acknowledging the importance of early education, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will distribute Wonder Boxes, developed by ITI Gandhinagar, to co-located Anganwadi centers. These boxes are designed to enhance pre-primary education and provide a solid foundation for young learners, promoting holistic development during their formative years.
Support for Children with Disabilities: A Compassionate Touch
In a heartwarming gesture, the event will also focus on assisting children with disabilities. Various assistive devices will be distributed, including accessible cranes, Braille kits, BT hearing aids, tricycles, wheelchairs, crutches, and clamshell chairs. These aids are essential for ensuring that children with disabilities can access education without hindrance, fostering inclusivity and equal opportunities.
Impactful Outreach
The scope of these initiatives is vast and transformative. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to distribute 14,360 tablets to teachers in the four districts of Gorakhpur division, including Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Deoria, and Kushinagar. Further, ICT labs will be inaugurated in 64 development blocks of the division, expanding access to technology-enabled learning.
The event underlines the government’s commitment to not only provide quality education but also to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all children. As part of this mission, a total of 3,780 Wonder Boxes will be distributed, enhancing early education for countless children.
Moreover, this event showcases the government’s dedication to ensuring that children with disabilities are provided with the necessary tools and support to engage in education without limitations. In total, 190 equipment items will be distributed to 130 disabled children, reaffirming the government’s commitment to their well-being and development.
