ESIC Boosts Medical Facilities with 1,221 New Doctor Recruits

In a significant move to improve medical facilities, the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has recently approved the recruitment of 1,221 doctors across various medical cadres. This includes 860 General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs), 330 Assistant Professors, and 31 Specialists.

  • Doctors: The recruitment of 1,221 medical professionals is part of ESIC’s effort to strengthen healthcare services.
  • Nursing Cadre: UPSC has conducted examinations to fill 1,930 nursing vacancies, with the recruitment process expected to conclude soon.
  • Junior Engineers: The hiring process for 20 Junior Engineers (Electrical) and 57 Junior Engineers (Civil) has been completed, with appointment letters issued this month.
