Exploring India With Pride: Introducing Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train.

Indian Railways has launched a special tour, Garvi Gujarat, to showcase the cultural and spiritual heritage of the vibrant state of Gujarat. The tour will be operated by IRCTC and will depart from Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station on February 28th for an 8-day journey. The train tour package is designed in line with the government’s “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat” initiative and will cover a distance of approximately 3500 km.

Major attractions included in the tour itinerary are the Statue of Unity, Champaner archaeological park, Adhlej Step Well, Akshardham Temple, Sabarmati Ashram, Modhera Sun Temple, and the Rani ki Vav. Religious sites like Somnath Jyotirlinga, Nageshwar Jyotirlinga, Dwarkadheesh Temple, and Beyt Dwarka will also be visited. The train will have two overnight stays in hotels, one each in Kevadiya and Ahmedabad.

The Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train is equipped with modern amenities such as two fine-dining restaurants, a modern kitchen, shower cubicles, sensor-based washrooms, foot massagers, and an infotainment system. It offers two types of accommodation – 1st AC and 2nd AC – and has enhanced security features such as CCTV cameras and security guards.

The train tour package, priced starting from Rs.52250 per person for AC 2 Tier, is an all-inclusive 8-day tour that covers the train journey, hotel stays, all meals (veg only), transfers, sight-seeing, travel insurance, and the services of a guide. IRCTC has tied up with payment gateways to provide an EMI payment option for breaking down the total payment into smaller amounts.

All necessary health precautions will be taken to ensure a safe and memorable experience for guests. The launch of the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train is in line with the government’s “Dekho Apna Desh” initiative to promote domestic tourism.
