The FIFA World Cup is an international men’s football championship that is contested by the senior national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The 2022 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to be the 22nd running of this competition. The event is set to occur in Qatar from 20 November to 18 December 2022.
The Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cupâ„¢ will take place from November 20 to December 18 in Qatar. This will be the 22nd edition of the competition and the first to be played in the Arab world.
The group phase draw for the World Cup took place on April 1, 2022, in Doha, Qatar to set the stage for the tournament.
Wales, Australia, and Costa Rica filled the final three qualification places in June, completing the 32-team line-up.
Held in Qatar, the first World Cup to be held in the Arab world will see 32 of the best national teams from around the globe compete for the ultimate prize in football.
So far, Qatar has been preparing diligently for the event, with all of the necessary infrastructure being put in place.
