The Vice President and his wife, Dr. Sudesh Dhankhar, then proceeded to Chautala village, the birthplace of the renowned political leader, to reflect on his enduring legacy.

Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar paid homage to the late leader at Teja Khera in Sirsa, acknowledging the profound impact that Shri Om Prakash Chautala had on Haryana’s political landscape. A five-time Chief Minister and seven-time MLA, his contributions went far beyond political office.
His relentless efforts towards farmer welfare and rural development remain unmatched. His vision included initiatives like the farmer loan waiver program, which was crucial for improving the lives of farmers in Haryana.
