  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground cashews with 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and 1/4 cup of milk powder, ensuring a thorough blend.
  4. Gradually incorporate 4 to 5 tablespoons of milk into the mixture, adding a small amount at a time until a smooth dough forms.
  5. Roll out the dough on a plastic sheet, shaping it into a thin, even layer.
  6. Cut the rolled dough into traditional diamond shapes.

The second recipe, Mohanthal, offers a delicious option for festive celebrations with just four ingredients.

  4. In a kadai on the stove, heat 1/2 cup of melted Desi ghee and add the besan coarse powder.
  5. Cook on a low flame for 15 minutes, adding 4 to 5 tablespoons of milk and cooking until the milk dries.
  6. In another kadai, prepare syrup by combining 3/4 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of water, achieving a 1-and-a-half string consistency.
  7. Introduce kesar food color and 1/2 teaspoon elaichi powder, mixing well before turning off the flame.
  8. Combine this syrup with the besan mixture, stirring until it thickens.
  9. Transfer the mixture to a greased tray, garnish with pistachios and nuts, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  10. Once set, cut into pieces and savor the delightful Besan Ki Burfi during the festive Diwali celebrations.
