However, only four teams will advance to the knockout stage of the World Cup 2023, which comprises two semi-final clashes and the highly anticipated final showdown in Ahmedabad. Matches will be held across various cities in India, including Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Lucknow, Dharamsala, and Pune.
Opening Match – New Zealand vs. England
The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 gets underway today with the opening match featuring New Zealand and England. The exciting contest will unfold at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While England carries the title of defending champion, New Zealand stands as the runner-up from the 2019 edition.
