Government Sanctions 78 Roads and 14 Bridges in Assam to Boost Rural Connectivity

Assam: To strengthen rural connectivity and accelerate economic growth in the North-Eastern region, the Ministry of Rural Development has approved the construction of 78 roads measuring 563.67 km and 14 bridges in Assam under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) – III. This initiative entails an estimated investment totaling Rs. 378.68 crore.

This significant investment aims to:
