The Government of UP has greenlit the construction of a Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substation in Rasra, Ballia, signaling a significant step towards enhancing the state’s power infrastructure. The Council of Ministers approved the project, which includes the establishment of a 400/220/132 KV GIS substation along with related lines, including a 125 MVAR bus reactor.
This ambitious endeavor comes with a revised cost estimate of ₹537.38 crores, inclusive of GST. The project is poised to stimulate economic growth, attract investments, and improve the overall quality of life for the people of Uttar Pradesh.
