The upcoming Indian Hindi-language comedy thriller film, ”Govinda Naam Mera”, is written and directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Shashank Khaitan under the banner Dharma Productions, in association with Viacom18 Studios. Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, and Kiara Advani star in the film. The film is scheduled to premiere on December 16, 2022 on Disney+Hotstar.
The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 16th December 2022.

In the trailer, Govinda is shown to be upset with his wife and pointing a gun at Gauri. In the next scene, the police are seen investigating a murder. He suspects Govinda and Suku. However, the trailer does not show who has murdered whom. It remains to be seen if the police will be able to solve this murder mystery.
