Vadodara Metro:
The plan allocates ₹11,000 crore for the Vadodara Metro, covering a distance of 40 kilometers. This project aims to improve intra-city transport and reduce traffic congestion in Vadodara.
Rajkot Metro:
Rajkot is set to receive ₹10,000 crore for its metro expansion, spanning 38 kilometers. The project aims to modernize transportation infrastructure in Rajkot and facilitate easier commuting for residents.
Ahmedabad Metro Expansion to Airport:
A budget of ₹2,000 crore is earmarked for extending the Ahmedabad Metro to the Airport, covering a distance of 6.5 kilometers. This extension aims to provide seamless connectivity between the city center and the airport, enhancing convenience for travelers.
Ahmedabad Metro Expansion to Gift City:
Additionally, ₹2,300 crore is allocated for expanding the Ahmedabad Metro to Gift City, covering a stretch of 7 kilometers. This extension is crucial for enhancing connectivity to Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (Gift City), promoting economic activities and ease of access for commuters.
