Heavy Rainfall Brings Relief to Delhi-NCR, Monsoon Gains Momentum

Rainfall in Delhi-NCR has brought a refreshing break from the humid heat, making the weather pleasant once again. After a long wait, the monsoon has picked up pace across Delhi, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad as of July 9.

Monsoon Gains Momentum

Heavy rains have drenched various parts of Delhi-NCR, including Delhi-Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad. This has led to waterlogging in several areas. After the early arrival of the monsoon in Delhi, the city experienced heavy rain on June 28, but it has been dry since then.

Weather Forecast for Delhi-NCR

According to the weather forecast, Delhi will experience generally cloudy skies with light to moderate rain and thundershowers today. The maximum temperature is expected to be 33 degrees Celsius, while the minimum could be around 27 degrees.

Extended Rain Predictions

IMD predicts light rain for the next two days, with heavier rainfall anticipated later in the week. Noida also has a rain alert, with expectations of rain or heavy rain until July 15. Nationwide, heavy rains are expected this week, especially as the monsoon returns to the Indo-Gangetic plains.
