Actress and Member of Parliament, Hema Malini, recently took to the campaign trail in Odisha, extending her support to party candidates ahead of the upcoming elections Phase.
In her campaign efforts, Hema Malini rallied for Dharmendra Pradhan in Sambalpur, Samvit Patra in Puri, and Aprajita Sarangi in Bhubaneswar, expressing her satisfaction in interacting with the local populace.
Reflecting on her connection with Odisha, Hema Malini reminisced about her visits to the sacred city of Puri as a devotee of Lord Krishna and her familiarity with the captivating Odissi dance form as a classical dancer. She shared her admiration for the “beautiful, sensuous, and lyrical” Odissi style, highlighting the cultural richness of the region.
Additionally, Hema Malini fondly recalled her interactions with the legendary Odissi exponent Kelucharan Mohapatra, cherishing the memories of their time spent together. She invoked these memories while extending her best wishes to all candidates, hoping for their resounding success in the elections.
