Highway Marvel: Bharatmala Pariyojana’s 6-Lane Connector Uniting Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana

As part of the ambitious Bharatmala Pariyojana initiative, a significant development is underway to construct a 6-lane highway connecting Jaitpur-Pushta Road to the junction near the KMP Expressway section of National Highway 148. This 50 km long stretch will serve as a crucial link between Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana, connecting major cities such as Noida, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, and Palwal.

With an estimated cost of Rs. 2,627 crores, this project aims to substantially reduce travel time from Noida and Delhi to the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway by 3-4 hours. The highway will run parallel to the Agra and Gurgaon canals, passing through a well-planned green belt, thereby ensuring the preservation of the natural environment.

In line with our commitment to sustainable development, the project is implementing innovative techniques for construction. The use of inert material for embankment construction will minimize the environmental impact of the highway. Additionally, elevated structures will be built on a single pier, reducing the need for extensive land acquisition and minimizing disruption to local ecosystems.

This commendable endeavor falls under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. By delivering world-class highway infrastructure to commuters, we are dedicated to facilitating economic and social development in the region. The project aligns with our commitment to bolster connectivity, enhance trade and commerce, and improve overall transportation efficiency across the country.

The new 6-lane highway will play a vital role in transforming the connectivity landscape of the region. It will provide a seamless and efficient transportation corridor, facilitating the smooth movement of goods and people between major urban centers. The improved connectivity will not only benefit the residents of Noida, Faridabad, Ballabhgarh, and Palwal but also contribute to the overall development and economic growth of the entire region.

The construction of this highway represents a significant milestone in the Bharatmala Pariyojana, which is India’s largest-ever highway development program. The initiative aims to construct and upgrade approximately 83,677 kilometers of highways across the country, connecting various parts of India and promoting regional development.

The Jaitpur-Pushta Road to KMP Expressway section is a testament to the government’s commitment to modernizing and expanding the transportation infrastructure in India. By focusing on sustainable development practices and employing advanced construction techniques, we ensure that this highway not only serves as a catalyst for economic growth but also contributes to the preservation of our natural resources.

The new 6-lane highway is expected to significantly reduce congestion, enhance road safety, and improve travel experience for commuters. It will provide a faster, more efficient, and more comfortable journey for those traveling between Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana. Additionally, the improved connectivity will open up new opportunities for trade, tourism, and investments in the region, ultimately benefiting the people and contributing to the nation’s progress.

As we march forward with the Bharatmala Pariyojana, we remain steadfast in our commitment to transforming India’s transportation infrastructure. The construction of the Jaitpur-Pushta Road to KMP Expressway section showcases our determination to create a well-connected and prosperous nation. With the tireless efforts of the government and the support of the people, we will continue to achieve new milestones and propel India into a brighter future.
