1. Check notification settings
If you’re not getting notifications on your Android phone, there are a few things you can check. ensure that your notifications must be turned on in your phone’s settings. You can also check to see if your phone is muted, or if there is an app that is preventing notifications from appearing.
2. Update WhatsApp

The first thing you should do is make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed. for this, go to the Play Store and in play store go to the My Apps & Games section. If you see an update for WhatsApp, install it.
If the problem persists, try disabling your phone’s battery optimization for WhatsApp. To do this, open Settings and go to Battery. select the menu button (3 vertical dots) and choose Battery Optimization. Tap the WhatsApp option and select Don’t optimize.

3. Clear WhatsApp cache
Cache is temporary files stored on your Android device to improve performance. To clear WhatsApp cache on Android, follow these steps:
a. Go to Settings.
b. Tap Apps.
c. Tap WhatsApp.
d. Tap Storage.
e. Tap Clear Cache.
f. Tap Clear Data.
g. Tap OK.
4. Uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp
If you’re having trouble with WhatsApp notifications not working on Android, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. This can sometimes fix the problem.
If you’re still having trouble after uninstalling and reinstalling, you can try clearing the app’s cache and data. This can also fix the problem.
To clear the app’s cache and data, open your Android’s Settings menu, tap Apps, and then tap WhatsApp. Tap Storage and then tap Clear Cache and Clear Data.
