The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave alert for several regions across northern and central India on May 29th, 2024. Severe heatwave conditions are expected in many parts of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Rajasthan, and a few parts of Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan.
