Over the past 24 hours, the minimum temperatures have been observed in the range of 2-5°C across significant parts of Punjab, Haryana, and Chandigarh-Delhi.
Moreover, many regions in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, north Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand are experiencing minimum temperatures in the range of 6-10°C. This widespread cold spell is indicative of the prevailing winter chill affecting various states in the northern part of the country.
Today’s weather report from the IMD reveals that Hissar in Haryana recorded the lowest minimum temperature at a chilly 1.1°C. This signifies a considerable drop in temperature and underlines the intensity of the cold wave in the region.
As these cold conditions persist, residents are advised to take necessary precautions to stay warm and protected against the harsh weather. The IMD continues to monitor the weather patterns, providing timely updates to keep the public informed about the evolving conditions in North India.
