The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a report indicating a noticeable decrease in minimum temperatures across several northern states in India. Over the last 24 hours until 8:30 AM today, regions including Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar have experienced a chilly spell.
In most parts of Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, the minimum temperature recorded ranged between 5-10°C. Additionally, isolated areas in Madhya Pradesh and Bihar reported minimum temperatures hovering around 10-13°C.
This drop in temperatures is indicative of the winter chill intensifying across the northern belt. Residents in these states are advised to take necessary precautions as the cold wave continues. The IMD’s observations serve as a crucial weather update, aiding individuals and local authorities in planning and adapting to the prevailing climatic conditions.
