Yadav expressed pride in India’s achievement, declaring that the country is now home to the world’s largest single-horn rhino population, with approximately 3,000 rhinos residing within its borders.

“He called upon citizens and conservationists to use World Rhino Day as an opportunity to renew their commitment to the conservation of this iconic species. The statement underscores the importance of preserving these magnificent creatures and the critical role they play in maintaining the ecological balance of India’s diverse ecosystems”.
