The South Africans won the toss and elected to bowl first, but India made a strong start, scoring 237 runs in their 20 overs. However, the South Africans fought back well and managed to score 221 runs, losing just 3 wickets in the process.
The star of the Indian innings was KL Rahul, who scored 57 from 28 balls, while Surya Kumar Yadav scored 61 from 22 balls.
For the South Africans, David Miller was the top scorer with 106 runs from 47 balls, while Quinton de Kock scored 69 runs from 48 balls.
In the end, it was a close contest, but India just managed to scrape over the line to win by 16 runs.
