India is in the midst of a pandemic, and the government has been working hard to try and contain it. The latest news is that the cumulative number of people who have received the COVID-19 vaccine has now exceeded 218.93 crore.

This is great news, as it means that the majority of the population is now protected against the virus.

The government has also been working hard to ensure that everyone who needs a vaccine can get one. Over 4.10 crore first dose vaccines have been administered for the age group 12-14 years.

In addition, the active caseload currently stands at 29,251, with 2,797 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours. However, the good news is that the recovery rate currently stands at 98.75%, and the weekly positivity rate is presently at 1.30%.
