iQOO, a prominent player in the smartphone market, has launched its flagship iQOO 12 series in India, setting the stage for a showdown with rivals like the upcoming OnePlus 12. The key highlight of the iQOO 12 is its adoption of the robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, promising high-end performance for users.

iQOO 12 Specifications:

The iQOO 12 boasts a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with an impressive resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and a dynamic 144Hz variable refresh rate. The smartphone’s 1.5K display achieves a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, and it carries an IP64 certification for a degree of dust and water protection.

Under the hood, the iQOO 12 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, fabricated on a 4nm process, coupled with the Adreno 750 GPU for handling graphics-intensive tasks. The camera setup is a triple array on the rear, featuring a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 64MP secondary telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens. For selfies and video calls, the front houses a 16MP shooter capable of capturing 1080p video at 30fps.

The iQOO 12’s camera app provides a plethora of modes, including snapshot, night, portrait, panorama, ultra slo-mo, time-lapse, long exposure, supermoon, Astro, tilt-shift, and more.

In terms of battery, the iQOO 12 is equipped with a substantial 5000mAh battery, supporting rapid charging through a 120W charger included in the box. Notably, it runs Android 14, making it one of the first devices in India to feature this operating system, overlaid with iQOO’s custom skin: FunTouchOS 14.

iQOO 12 Price:

The iQOO 12 is priced at ₹52,999 for the 12GB RAM/256GB storage variant, while the higher-end 16GB RAM/512GB storage variant is available for ₹57,999. Additionally, users can enjoy a ₹3,000 discount by using HDFC and ICICI bank cards during the purchase, enhancing the appeal of iQOO’s latest offering.
