Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO is gearing up to expand its mid-range smartphone lineup with the upcoming launch of the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro in India on August 21, 2024. Ahead of the launch, iQOO has unveiled several key specifications and details about these devices, providing a glimpse into their competitive features and pricing.
iQOO Z9s Pro: Premium Performance and Display
The iQOO Z9s Pro is set to make a significant impact with its high-performance specifications. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, boasting an impressive Antutu benchmark score of over 820,000. This score surpasses that of other devices featuring the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, indicating top-tier performance in its segment.
The Z9s Pro will feature a 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 4500 nits, making it the brightest display available in India under ₹25,000. It will be offered in two striking color options: Flamboyant Orange and Luxe Marble.
In terms of camera capabilities, the Z9s Pro will sport a 50MP Sony IMX 882 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), 4K video recording, and a Night Mode feature. It will also include an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens. The device will come equipped with software enhancements like AI Photo Enhance and AI Erase, further enriching the photography experience. Additionally, the Z9s Pro will house a substantial 5,500 mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting usage.
iQOO Z9s: Stylish and Efficient
The iQOO Z9s will also feature a 3D curved AMOLED panel but with a lower peak brightness of 1800 nits compared to the Pro variant. Despite this, it maintains a sleek design with a thickness of just 7.49mm, similar to its Pro counterpart.
Both the iQOO Z9s and Z9s Pro are poised to challenge competitors like the OnePlus Nord CE 4 in the sub ₹25,000 price segment, offering compelling features and performance at an attractive price point.
