Dr. Jitendra Singh Addresses a “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” program at Mainpuri

Uttar Pradesh: In an era marked by bureaucratic hurdles and citizens struggling for even basic entitlements, Dr. Jitendra Singh commended Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for orchestrating a paradigm shift. Addressing the “Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” program in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, the Union Minister emphasized the monumental change brought about by the Modi government in the delivery of welfare benefits.

Dr. Jitendra Singh reminisced about a time when citizens, particularly the economically disadvantaged, had to navigate a labyrinth of government offices, often relinquishing their legitimate dues due to lack of influence or bureaucratic complexities. However, he credited Prime Minister Modi for flipping the narrative, asserting that government officials now actively reach out to citizens’ doorsteps, ensuring accountability and widespread coverage.

The minister attributed this transformation to Prime Minister Modi’s visionary leadership, which places the citizens at the core of government planning. He stressed the application of objective parameters for dispensing justice, a departure from past practices where selective benefits were determined by vote bank politics.

One of the key aspects highlighted by Dr. Jitendra Singh was the introduction of “Modi Guarantee Vans,” serving as Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) platforms. These vans aim for 100% saturation of major flagship schemes, ensuring that the benefits of socio-economic upliftment reach the weakest sections of society.

Reflecting on the success of the government’s pro-poor and public welfare schemes, Dr. Jitendra Singh noted the significant progress achieved within nine and a half years. The principles of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” guide the implementation of these schemes, fostering an inclusive and equitable approach.

The “Viksit Bharat Yatra” is introduced as an innovative concept targeting citizens who may be unaware of their eligibility for various schemes. Dr. Jitendra Singh emphasized the Yatra’s role in achieving the saturation of government schemes, including Ujjwala Yojana, SVANidhi, and PM Awas Yojana.
