Lok Sabha Election 2024: To prepare for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, BJP President JP Nadda has revealed the names of the members forming his election manifesto committee. The 27-member team, led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, comprises prominent figures within the party, reflecting a diverse range of expertise and experience.
Among the notable members are Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, who will serve as the convenor of the committee, and Union Minister Piyush Goyal, appointed as a co-convenor. Additionally, newly elected Chief Ministers Vishnu Deo Sai and Mohan Yadav, along with Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, are part of the committee, bringing regional perspectives to the forefront.
Other esteemed members of the committee include Union Ministers Ashwini Vaishnaw, Smriti Irani, Dharmendra Pradhan, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Rajeev Chandrashekhar, and Kiren Rijiju, each contributing their insights and expertise to the formulation of the election manifesto.
The Lok Sabha elections are scheduled to be held in seven phases, commencing on April 19. With the final phase concluding on May 26, the results are set to be declared on June 4. As the BJP gears up for the electoral battle, the Election Manifesto Committee plays a pivotal role in shaping the party’s vision and priorities for the nation’s future.
