“Kalki 2898 AD” has delivered an outstanding performance in its extended Week 1, buoyed by strong word of mouth from Day 1 [Thursday]. Despite the T20 World Cup Final [INDvSA] on Saturday, the film saw substantial growth over the weekend, particularly a sensational jump on Sunday.
The box office performance was rock-solid throughout the weekdays [Monday to Thursday], with the film consistently hitting double digits each day. While mass pockets saw a slowdown from Tuesday onwards, major centers compensated with energetic footfalls.
As “Kalki 2898 AD” enters Week 2, it is poised to amass impressive numbers over the second weekend, potentially breaching the ₹200 crore mark and emerging as the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024, surpassing the lifetime business of “Fighter.”
