The sacred Panchmukhi Bhog idol of Lord Kedarnath will be worshipped on May 5th at the Panchkedar Gaddi site, Shri Omkareshwar Temple, Ukhimath, marking the beginning of the spiritual journey. The idol will embark on a ceremonial procession, culminating at Kedarnath Dham on the evening of May 9th.
The grand opening ceremony, steeped in rituals, will commence at 7 am on Friday, May 10th, adhering to tradition and devotion. This auspicious decision was made in the presence of Ajendra Ajay, Chairman of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee, during a religious ceremony on Mahashivratri.
