The Minister of State for the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME), Shri Jitendra Singh, launched an exhibition in Udhampur, Jammu & Kashmir, showcasing the work of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC). The exhibition was held as part of the government’s efforts to promote entrepreneurship and livelihoods in the region and to carry forward the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the same.
The exhibition, which is a huge success, displayed a range of products and services offered by the KVIC. These products and services included hand-woven fabrics, herbal products, handicrafts, and agro-based items. The event was attended by a large number of people from various regions of the country, including Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

He informed the gathering that over Rs 100 crores of subsidy and margin money have been distributed to beneficiaries in Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, and Rajasthan. This financial assistance has been provided under various schemes of the Ministry of MSME and is aimed at helping entrepreneurs to start and grow their businesses.
The exhibition is a great success and received a lot of positive feedback from the visitors. The products and services on display received great appreciation, and many visitors expressed their interest in starting similar ventures in their own regions.
