Kwadwo Asamoah, a former professional footballer from Ghana, is now retired. He played mainly as a left midfielder or left-back but was also occasionally deployed as a central midfielder. Asamoah’s professional career began with the Italian club Udinese in 2008. He played a key role in helping Juventus win six consecutive Serie A titles between 2013 and 2018, among other titles, earning him a transfer for his consistent performances. However, injuries limited his appearances at the club during his later seasons. He joined Inter Milan in 2018 and will join Cagliari in 2021.
Asamoah represented Ghana at four Africa Cup of Nations tournaments and two FIFA World Cups, appearing in a total of sixteen matches. Asamoah was named Ghana Player of the Year in 2012 and 2013, and he was awarded CAF Most Promising African Player in 2010. Asamoah was ranked the 27th-best footballer in the world in 2013 by Bloomberg.
Early Life:-
Ghanaian soccer player Asamoah was born in Accra. He was scouted by Mr. Charles Mensah Gipson playing for a locally based club that belongs to Kamara. Mr. Gipson recommended him to the late Alhaji Sly Tetteh, former CEO of Liberty Professionals. In the winter of 2007–08, he joined the Swiss club Bellinzona and was loaned to the Italian side, Torino.
