Lok Sabha 2024 Election Result: The final count for the Lok Sabha 2024 elections has concluded, and the Election Commission of India has announced the results for all constituencies. The BJP secured a victory in 240 out of 543 seats, while the Congress won 99 seats. Despite the BJP falling short of the 272-majority mark, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to lead the government for a third consecutive term with support from NDA allies.

BJP Sweeps Delhi

In Delhi, the BJP won all seven Lok Sabha seats for the third consecutive time, defeating the AAP-Congress alliance. BJP candidates Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, Praveen Khandelwal, Bansuri Swaraj, Harsh Malhotra, Manoj Tiwari, Kamaljeet Sehrawat, and Yogender Chandoliya achieved significant margins of victory.

BJP’s Struggles in Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh, the BJP faced a significant challenge from the INDIA bloc, led by the Samajwadi Party, which won 37 seats, reducing the BJP’s count to 35 from 62 seats in 2019.

Regional Party Wins

The All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) secured 29 seats, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) won 22 seats, and the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) captured 16 seats.

Rahul Gandhi’s Decision

Rahul Gandhi won the Wayanad seat for the second consecutive term with a margin of over 3.64 lakh votes against Annie Raja of the CPI. He also won from Rae Bareli, leaving questions about which constituency he would represent in the Lok Sabha.

The 2024 election results highlight a competitive landscape, with the BJP and NDA allies set to form the government amidst regional shifts and significant wins across various states.
