Neeraj Chopra, born on 24 December 1997, is a track and field athlete from India. He is the reigning Olympic champion in javelin throw, silver medalist in the World Championship, and the Diamond League champion.

Neeraj Chopra was born to a Ror family in Khandra Panipat, Haryana. His two sisters and his family are largely involved in agriculture. He attended BVN Public School for his schooling. He graduated from Dayanand Anglo-Vedic College in Chandigarh and as of 2021 is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts from Lovely Professional University in Jalandhar, Punjab.

He has also been bestowed with national awards for his performance over the years. He was honored with the Arjuna Award in 2018 and was also given the Padma Shri and Khel Ratna awards later.

Neeraj Chopra, the Indian javelin thrower, has made a big contribution to the sport in 2022. He won a gold medal at the Asian Games and a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games. He has also set a new national record in the javelin throw.
