Maharashtra’s energy sector is set for a major transformation with an investment of ₹2.14 lakh crore in pump storage projects. These projects will generate an additional 40,870 megawatts of electricity and create 72,000 jobs. The state has also approved ₹1.20 lakh crore in investments for the vehicle and energy sectors. The central government has allocated ₹18,000 crore for the Manmad-Indore railway line project, connecting over 1,000 villages. Additionally, the ₹7,000 crore Nar-Par Giran river link project will bring irrigation benefits to 50,000 hectares in North Maharashtra, fostering growth in Nashik, Jalgaon, and Dhule districts.

With ₹81,000 crore invested in advanced vehicle production and semiconductor manufacturing, Konkan, Marathwada, and Vidarbha will see a significant boost in industrial growth, creating 20,000 jobs.
