WB CM Mamata Banerjee Mourns Dr. Pranab Biswas’ Passing

“He was an eminent social worker and renowned doctor,” remarked Banerjee, reflecting on Dr. Pranab Biswas’s multifaceted impact on Kolkata and beyond. Dr. Biswas’s involvement in public service was notably marked by his tenure as a councillor in the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, representing Ward No. 74 and later Ward No. 82 from 2010 to 2018. His efforts during this time were instrumental in shaping local governance and improving the lives of countless residents.
