The autopsy reports of American-Canadian actor Matthew Perry, famous for his role in ‘Friends,’ reveal that he passed away due to the ‘acute effects of Ketamine.’ This potent sedative is commonly used in experimental treatments for anxiety and depression.
Perry had been undergoing ketamine infusion therapy as part of his treatment for depression & anxiety. The autopsy points to the combined effects of this therapy, along with other factors, leading to the actor losing consciousness and tragically drowning in his hot tub.
Additional Factors Contributing to Death
Aside from the acute effects of Ketamine, other factors such as the presence of buprenorphine, drowning, and coronary artery disease were identified as contributors to Perry’s untimely demise.
