Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma recently visited Gopinatkilla in South West Garo Hills as part of his campaign efforts to garner support for Smt Agatha Sangma, the National People’s Party (NPP) candidate contesting in the 2-Tura Lok Sabha constituency.
Expressing his commitment to the campaign, CM Conrad K Sangma stated, “At Gopinatkilla in South West Garo Hills to seek support for our party candidate for 2-Tura Lok Sabha constituency Smt Agatha Sangma.” His visit to the region underscores the party’s resolve to engage with voters & earn their support for the upcoming elections.
During the campaign trail, CM Sangma also extended a warm welcome to former Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) and BJP leader, Dipul Marak, and his team. Sangma emphasized the significance of Marak’s decision to join the NPP, stating, “His joining, along with his team, will further strengthen our ongoing campaign for the Lok Sabha.”
