Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma recently held a productive meeting concerning the establishment of the NITI for States NFS (National Institution for Transforming India for States National Fellowship Scheme) digital platform in the state. This platform aims to revolutionize the state’s digital infrastructure by integrating data across states, thereby centralizing findings to inform future decisions by state governments based on data-driven insights.
Expressing his vision for the platform, CM Conrad K Sangma emphasized its pivotal role in enhancing governance through informed decision-making. He stated, “The platform aims to integrate data across states, centralizing findings to inform future decisions by state governments based on data-driven insights.”
Furthermore, CM Conrad K Sangma highlighted the comprehensive features of the NFS platform, which includes curated training modules for government officials. These modules focus on enhancing behavioral, functional, and domain knowledge among officials, ensuring their readiness to navigate complex governance challenges effectively.
Additionally, the NFS platform will feature helpdesks staffed by domain experts from the Aayog, aimed at addressing queries from state officials promptly. These skill development modules align closely with the Integrated Government Online Training (iGOT) Karmayogi platform, facilitating seamless integration into existing training frameworks.
CM Conrad K Sangma’s proactive efforts to advance Meghalaya’s digital infrastructure underscore the state government’s commitment to leveraging technology for efficient governance. The establishment of the NITI for States NFS digital platform is poised to propel Meghalaya towards a more data-driven and responsive governance model, fostering inclusive development and progress.
