Shri Shah reiterated Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of achieving a drug-free India by 2047. He stressed that drugs pose not just a national threat but a global menace, urging a collective and comprehensive strategy to combat this issue, which weakens national security and promotes terrorism.

Amit Shah highlighted the shifting trend from natural to synthetic drugs, noting the alarming statistics in Chhattisgarh. He called for a scientific, “Top to Bottom and Bottom to Top” approach to dismantle drug networks and emphasized the importance of detection, destruction, detention, and rehabilitation in this fight.
