Geo-tagging App for Cluster Projects and Technology Centers
To enhance the effectiveness of cluster projects and technology centers, the Ministry will introduce a Geo-tagging App. This innovative tool will enable the precise geo-tagging and monitoring of these initiatives, ensuring better implementation and evaluation.
MSME Idea Hackathon and PMEGP Subsidies
The “Udyami Bharat-MSME Day” program will announce the results of the ‘MSME Idea Hackathon 2.0’ and simultaneously launch the ‘MSME Idea Hackathon 3.0’ specifically tailored for women entrepreneurs. These hackathons provide a platform for creative thinking, fostering innovation, and encouraging new business ideas in the MSME sector.
Additionally, the event will witness the distribution of certificates to Gold and Silver ZED-certified MSMEs, recognizing their commitment to quality and excellence. Furthermore, a digital transfer of Rs. 400 crores as a Margin Money subsidy will be made to 10,075 beneficiaries of the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program (PMEGP).
MoU Signings and Collaborations
To foster collaboration and synergies among various organizations, the ‘Udyami Bharat-MSME Day’ program will witness the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between different government entities. These MoUs aim to strengthen the support ecosystem for MSMEs and facilitate knowledge exchange, resource sharing, and collective efforts for the sector’s growth.
