Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated the auspicious festival of Raksha Bandhan 2024 with school students at his residence in New Delhi on Monday, August 19, 2024. The event, held at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, showcased the Prime Minister’s affection for children and his commitment to fostering strong bonds between brothers and sisters.

During the celebration, young girls from school in Delhi tied colorful rakhis on PM Modi’s wrists, marking the special occasion. The Prime Minister was seen interacting with the students, sharing smiles, and engaging in friendly conversations.

Raksha Bandhan, a significant Hindu festival, symbolizes the unbreakable bond between brothers and sisters. It is celebrated on the last day of the holy month of Sawan, which fell on August 19 this year.
