Dr. Yadav revealed that notices had been issued to identify dangerous structures in Shahpur, but local administration officials failed to act. As a result, the Chief Municipal Officer and Deputy Engineer responsible for the oversight have been suspended immediately.

In response to the incident, Dr. Yadav directed all administrative officers across Madhya Pradesh to identify and address dilapidated buildings urgently. He emphasized that strict legal action would be taken against any negligence to prevent future tragedies.
