Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall in Central and Eastern India:

The IMD predicts heavy to very heavy rainfall in Chhattisgarh and East Madhya Pradesh. Additionally, Odisha may experience heavy to very heavy rainfall in a few places. Some isolated places in East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Vidarbha, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu-Kashmir-Ladakh-Gilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Gujarat state, Marathwada, Coastal Karnataka, and Kerala & Mahe are also expected to receive heavy rainfall.

Thunderstorms and Gusty Winds:

Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds are likely to occur at isolated places over several states. These regions include Uttar Pradesh, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, Punjab, East Rajasthan, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, Rayalaseema, and Kerala & Mahe. Lightning without thunderstorms may occur in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram & Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal.

Squally Weather Conditions along Coasts:

Fishermen have been advised against venturing into certain coastal areas due to squally weather conditions. Westcentral & Southwest Arabian Sea, east Central Arabian Sea, Gulf of Mannar, north Andhra Pradesh coast & adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal are likely to experience squally wind speeds reaching 45-55 kmph, gusting to 65 kmph. Forecasters anticipate squally weather in the regions bordering the coasts of Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, the Lakshadweep-Comorin area, off the coast of Sri Lanka, and along the coasts of Odisha and West Bengal. Wind speeds are projected to reach 40-45 kmph, with gusts potentially reaching 50 kmph.
