Monsoon: As the Southwest Monsoon advances, its northern limit now stretches through 20.5°N/60°E, 20.5°N/63°E, 20.5°N/70°E, Veraval, Rajpipla, Ujjain, Vidisha, Siddhi, Chaibasa, Haldia, Pakur, Sahibganj, and Raxaul. This movement signals favorable conditions for the monsoon to further extend into additional regions over the next few days, including parts of North Arabian Sea, Gujarat State, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

- Cyclonic circulation over central Rajasthan with a trough running to south Chhattisgarh, resulting in fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms and gusty winds in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim on June 24th; Gangetic West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh from June 25th-27th; and Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha over the next five days.
Heat Wave Warning:
Despite the advancing monsoon, heat wave conditions persist in isolated pockets of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and West Uttar Pradesh on June 24th and 25th, with temperatures ranging between 40-43°C in these regions. The heat wave is expected to abate after that.
